Can you turn pain down? Can you reduce pain simply by changing how your brain processes it?

It sounds unlikely, yet modern pain neuroscience tells us that attention, expectation and perception all influence the experience of pain (and even turn pain down).

In this short video I demonstrate one of my favourite evidence-based self-hypnosis techniques that many people find surprisingly effective.
