Which mental strategy produces the strongest response for you: words, memory or direct attention to sensation?

In this brief applied self-hypnosis experiment, you will explore the suggestion of warmth using three different approaches.

There is no official “imagination type” to uncover—and no test to pass. You are simply comparing strategies and observing what happens.

You may notice warmth, tingling, pulsing or another subtle change. You may notice no difference yet. Either result provides useful information about how you engaged with the exercise today.

Try it, then tell me in the comments: WORDS, MEMORY, SENSATION, COMBINATION—or NO DIFFERENCE.

You can explore my Science of Self-Hypnosis educational programme and my hypnosis audio programmes without the added pressure of needing to visualise, and when asked to engage the imagination, explore the varying ways you can do so as described here.

… and by the way… if you want to learn my official, structured approach to self-hypnosis, visit this page of my college website and download the self-hypnosis roadmap that gives instructions on how to do that: Learn Self-Hypnosis Here.
