I think you hit the nail on the head. I have had students from Saudi Arabia complaining about the heat in a typical British, non air con, sans fan room. Although they have tempertures around 50 (that must melt your polos!) they go from air con environment to aircon environment.

Very true. I don't do cold weather. When the mercury gets in the sixties,I have a coat on and my fingers start to stiffen under 60. Have a friend that moved to Oklahoma from Canada, took him a while to get used to the heat.

It is all what you are accustomed to, and it is amazing what we can get used to.

Hi Fuzzy, thanks for the comment.

I don't think that is anything to be 'concerned' about :-)

I am guessing that in Texas, you are more used to the heat, probably more acclimatised to it then me, and have things like air conditioning to help you deal with it. For us, it is so rare to experience such temperatures, that (speaking for myself) we are less acclimatised, less equipped and less used to it in general terms.

Nonetheless, the process given here will still be effective wherever you are, with some practice.

Best wishes, A.

I love reading these articles. My only concern is your statement on it being properly hot. I can handle 30°C/86°F all day long. If you want properly hot, come visit us in Texas where our morning temperature is near that. We often stay near 100°F with humidity. It feels like an oven opening the front door.

God Bless Texas
Don't Mess With Texas

Peace
