I laughed out loud at this bit. What were you doing treating the re-incarnation of Captain Hook? Can you even get a reincarnation of a fictional character?

People surely will get the satire of this, surely? I mean, it does encourage critical thinking as well as being a classic April fool. For one thing, if his hand had been bitten off by a lion, he would have had to seek a rather more urgent treatment than hypnotherapy. Namely stopping the blood loss. Also, lions don’t kill or attack by biting off random body parts and leaving the rest untouched.

No, sorry, anyone with half a brain is going to realise this is an April fool’s joke. Well…I suppose the Daily Star’s probably been on the phone already about this, Adam? They have an all year round april fool: calling themselves a newspaper.

Oh, and on the subject of lions, I’ve fed two of them at a wildlife park recently. Amazing experience. But relax. I followed instructions and kept my hand outside the cage bit. So I won’t be needing your new limb re-growth hypnosis treatment.
