In reply to <a href="https://adam-eason.com/learning-to-listen-hypnotically-to-enhance-your-relationships/#comment-27601">Dr. Michael of Grantham Therapy</a>.

Thank you Michael, enjoyed that.

WHilst speaking at Change Phenomena conference this weekend, one of the other speakers (and former World Champion fighter of 13 titles) Gary Turner, talked about characterising the internal dialogue and using duct tape to wrap around the voice and make it go quiet... It worked brilliantly with his demonstrations of it.

Best wishes, Adam

Thank you Adam for reminding me again about Eric`s technique to quieten the mind. Another I find useful is the `slow release` where you inhale through your nose with energy and exhale out through your mouth very slowly while counting to ten or less sometimes. As you breathe out, let your shoulders drop. This is a very powerful way to calm the mind and relax tension in the body while doing hypnosis or meditation particularly if there is alot of internal chatter or your mind is all over the place. Very nice post here again from you.
Epictetus gave us the quote: "We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak", another I like from him is: "Make the best use of what is in your power, and take the rest as it happens". Thank you. Michael
