Hello Jullan,

I am not aware of the pencil method you refer to. Though as with so many induction methods, they have similar underlying principles and purposes, so I am certain that many processes can seem like a derivative of one another.

I like the coin drop methodology as it works really well with children - I give them the coin to keep after the session. It also has a really good component that highlights the ideo-motor response which serves as a great illustration during parts of my hypnosis explanation.

Best wishes to you, Adam.

Holding a pencil between your thump and first finger and talking to your self "I am going to drop that pencil over and over and when one drop the pencil than that one is hypnotizet. Hello Chris,

Perhaps my instructions in step two are not obvious or repeated enough - the palm needs to be face-down so that when the hand opens, the coin drops onto the floor or downwards in line with gravity. The picture is meant to show the initial holding of the coin before grasping it in a fist and holding the hand palm down.... Though finding copyright free images and stock photos to illustrate these blog entries is a challenge sometimes.

I hope that explains. Best wishes, Adam.

Hi Adam,

How is the coin supposed to be held? In a closed fist with the palm facing the ceiling or floor? The picture above suggests the ceiling, and I don't see how the coin would ever drop unless your arm dropped. Thank you!

I do this on the "tube". Cost me a small fortune so far, as the coin is really "magical' and has "dissapeared" by the time I have come out of hypnotic state :)

Hello Arjun, I have an incredibly busy schedule... It would be best and easiest if you send me an email with your queries in the first instance and I'll be delighted to see what I can do from there.
