Dear Adam Eason

I have come to a stage in my life where I want a new direction. I have always been interested in hypnotherapy, and was once told by a hypnotherapist that i had a good relaxing voice for hypnotherapy! I have been looking at the routes to becoming a qualified practicing hypnotherapist but am totally confused by all the options!! I am interested in the HPD route. Could you point me in the right direction and maybe give me some idea of cost to becoming a practicing hypnotherapist. Thank you.

In reply to Andy. That is still the case Andy, your diploma and qualification is the same as it ever was, the only difference is that it is now even better, more advanced with more accreditation. :-)

Your current diploma is awarded by GHSC (General Hypnotherapy Register), is this no longer going to be the case and will these changes affect current students?

Thank you Richard… The syllabus will change very slightly, but not greatly, the course already includes just about everything required for the HPD… It is just that we have had to tweak how each student is assessed and developed in order for the NCFE to externally assess and award the qualification.

Congratulations Adam! It’s refreshing to see someone working to improve standards rather than just being a money mill. Will this affect the syllabus you offer? When I saw your literature the syllabus already looked very comprehensive.

I know you have worked really, really hard to get this together and make it happen Adam and I think you deserve huge congratulations for this very commendable act!
I think it is absolutely wonderful that people can go along and learn hypnosis and NLP etc and develop the skills to start helping their selves and others – only it is very hard to know who to recommend as these trainings go in at such different levels in each individual case.
Tell me if this is right Adam – if I make a professional recommendation of a practioner to a client and something goes wrong for the client then legally I have a degree of responsibility for making this recommendation.
What you have done is setting a level and may this result in there being far more useful practioners out there than un-useful ones – if it has anything to do with you Adam I am sure it will – brilliant work!
