It's over? It's only lunchtime here in the States! :)

I thought this was a great post, and still want to contribute, but on how to remain a star once you become one. And since it's lunch-time and I'm hungry, my thoughts are apparently veering toward the gustatory...

Self-care - stars who don't take care of themselves burn out
Passion - stars without passion lose their luster and drive
Identity - Stars without an identity become lost or redundant
Compassion - stars without compassion become narcissists
Elasticity - stars without flexibility are one-hit-wonders

SPICE - it's the flavor that makes things more interesting, the ingredient that shakes things up, the salt that preserves, the color that makes things special, the secret ingredient that heats things up, and the thing that sets apart your potato salad from everyone else's. Too much is obnoxious and too little is bland, but in perfect balance, the results are utterly sublime, making everyone wish they had the recipe.

Mmmmmmm...potato salad...

Peace - without being at peace with the world, and yourself, what can you accomplish?
Orthogonal - ultimate congruence
Worth - acknowledging the worth of you, and the people around you

hello..

the fifth word i came out for your friend is .. yen

Yen according to dictionary.com stands for the monetary unit for Japan but also for desire and craving.

i've been thinking all morning about this.. (instead of doing any work..)

i came out with plenty of qualities stars, which worked well, in their own environment, but disliked most of them for a reason or the other. Then i too went philosophical and that was even more confusing. I couldn't find a solution because there was no solution to fit all.

so i turned this search into an intellectual exercise: i decided to put on my smarty pants too and came up with the word yen and this is why

This is my solution to the puzzle: the 4 initial words were

Aspiration
Inspiration
Dedication
Perspiration

let me change the order a little

Aspiration (A first letter of the alphabet)
Dedication (D fourth letter of the alphabet)
Inspiration (I nineth letter of the alphabet)
Perspiration (P sixteenth letter of the alphabet)

This is actually a mathematic sequence
1,4,9,16

These numbers are the squared first 4 numbers:

1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4

the next is 5x5 which is 25.. letter y in the alphabet..

after researching a little i found the word yen (as desire), and liked it and i thought that was the motivation missing from the other 4.

i know.. i possibly thought about it a bit too much... lol

see ya on facebook
