I&#039;d love to hear lots of these wannabe vigilante people who had some afterthoughts here and there and considered letting go of revenge and anger and having some compassion... And no better time to be thinking of it than the festive season.

I absolutely think there was a correlation between the violence we saw in the world at large as we went to war and what happened in the culture.  Did you notice that Hollywood started churning out &quot;revenge films&quot; after the September 11th attacks?

In Malcolm Gladwell&#039;s &quot;The Tipping Point,&quot; he makes the case for there being a correlation between crime and subconscious markers/anchors like broken windows or graffiti, and how literally cleaning up the neighborhood can affect crime rates - and even acts of intimidation or violence on the subway.

Anyway, this is a great story.  I&#039;m glad I took a few minutes to read it.  :)]]></description>
